Happy Wednesday! I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day. It's been a while since I've done a fitting room favorites update so I wanted to take the time to do it this week because I found some pretty perfect new pieces.
Everyone needs the perfect white top. Preferably lots of them. With lace. And a peplum. This top has it ALL, you guys, and it couldn't be more perfect if it tried. Hands down my favorite of the bunch, I swear you need this one. I've already worn it with black distressed denim and my favorite suede moto jacket and can't wait to take it into spring. I'm wearing a small here but ended up ordering an xs. You need it. I promise.
Of all the trends happening this past year, my two favorites are easily the cold-shoulder/off-shoulder trend and lace-up details. This J.O.A cotton top has the best of both worlds and is another easy piece to finish out the winter and take into spring. The grey tone is the perfect light neutral and it's easy to dress up or down. Perfect with black denim and a faux leather jacket for night. I'm wearing an xs.
The wrap top is one of those universally flattering styles and I never knew it until I bought my first one last year. It's such a feminine silhouette and I swear it makes you feel instantly pretty. I love the barely there blush tone of this one by June & Hudson. I had to try it on in a medium (shown here) but you can see it's bunching quite a bit, so I ordered an xs. It would be perfect for work under a blazer or layered over a pencil skirt, too.
The side button detail on this Madewell sweater is my favorite and really makes the sweater—aside from the fact that it's actually crazy comfy. I love the "dusty clay" tone and again how perfectly it will transition into spring with white denim. I'm wearing an xs.
Finally, I love a twist on a plain white tee and this one by Topshop has the prettiest lace hem—and sleeves! It also comes in black and blush but I love the white for a twist (and feminine touch) on a classic. I usually size up in Topshop and I'm wearing a US 4 here.
I hope you all enjoy the rest of your week!
