Finally found the blazer to make you want to live in blazers. 🙌🏼This Max Studio houndstooth plaid jacket (also in stock HERE) is, in my opinion, a must-have in your wardrobe. It’s the epitome of fall and winter and I’m quickly noticing it makes any outfit look (and feel) instantly elevated. I’ve worn it for daytime, workdays and date night, over sweater tees (like the one here from Anthropologie that’s so good), layered over satin lace camisoles and paired with an olive mini skirt—as seen in my Apple Hill post. It just works anywhere and everywhere. And if you swap out your usual cardigan for this blazer, I swear you will feel so GOOD.

In the past, I’ve thought of blazers as stuffy and stiff, too structured or just not right for my lifestyle. But I was wrong and I have no shame admitting it. I love how this one is more of a slouchy boyfriend style that’s still the perfect amount of fitted and flattering. It’s also a rayon/nylon blend with spandex, which adds the perfect amount of stretch to keep it comfortable. I’ve worn this on car rides and in the movie theater and felt just as comfortable in it as I would have been in a cozy cardigan. That I can promise.

I feel like I’m going way over-the-top hyping this blazer but I just can’t tell you enough how much I love it. And I know you will, too. It’s not stuffy. It’s just really wearable and effortless. For sizing reference, I’m in between xs and small and went with the small, which fits perfectly.

I paired it with black distressed jeans for a more casual vibe here and slipped into these python slingback flats for a little pattern play. Tip when mixing patterns. Stay in the same tones (like the black tones here) and you can’t go wrong.

As always, thank you so much for reading!
