True Life: I could live in sweats and sneakers. 🙌🏼 Anyone else? I've been realizing lately I almost never share my casual, weekend-errand looks so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to do so. I almost always reach for leggings or jogger pants and recently added these UGG Cozy Fleece Jogger Pants from Nordstrom to my collection and, you guys, obsessed would be an understatement.

I think it can be hard to find jogger pants that are flattering and comfortable without being too loose, too tight or too sweatpant-like but this pair by UGG completely nails it. They are soo soft and comfy and quite frankly feel like you're not wearing pants at all, which in my book is a pretty great thing. I love them for throwing on at home, running errands and I'm guilty of even wearing them to work but my office is ultra-casual. They come in several colors, including a great burgundy tone that would be so fun as a holiday gift for your friend, mom, sister, etc.

I paired them with cozy neutral sweaters and slipped into these UGG sneakers to keep me on my feet all day long. When you think of UGG, I think you tend to think of slipper styles but I'm really loving their everyday pieces. The chestnut color of these suede beauties is oh-so-classic and goes with absolutely everything which is what I always look for in a sneaker. How cute is the gold heel? I love having easy shoes to throw on for daily wear and these are just the shoes I was missing in my collection for that. These do run a bit small, so I would suggest sizing up if you're in between sizes. I do love buying shoes at Nordstrom because they make it so easy to exchange!

What are your favorite UGG styles?

Happy Wednesday, friends! We're halfway through the work week and I couldn't be more excited. We've had some slightly cooler weather here lately and while I've never been one to wish away warm weather, I'm really loving the sweater weather vibes.

One of my absolute favorite sweater trends for the season has to be chenille. I love the velvety vibe and how the style really seems to easily make an outfit. I recently grabbed my first new style for the season and it's this BP. Chenille Funnel Neck Sweater from Nordstrom.

This sweater also comes in a charcoal gray and ash pink but I loved the warm tone of this "brown bronze" color. It screams fall and just has a really rich look when paired with your favorite denim, plus I think will be great for the holidays. It has a slightly oversized feel mainly under the arms but I happen to love the silhouette and it still feels shapely and flattering. The funnel neck is also really effortless.

I wore mine with a lighter wash for a more casual day-date look this past weekend but it pairs really nicely with a dark wash for something a bit more dressed up, as well. Did I mention this Free People denim is only $78? 🙌🏼

I'm still not bringing out my boots just yet but I've been loving swapping out my sandals for close-toed styles like slides and loafers. In my opinion, nude flats are a must (they go with everything and make legs look longer), so I had no qualms about adding a new pair to my collection.

These Halogen Sylvia loafers from Nordstrom are my new favorite. I'm not sure if you can tell from my photos but the heel is actually collapsible meaning you can wear them as full-on loafers or slip-on slides. They are buttery soft and I found they didn't have any break-in period. I think they'll also be perfect for both work and play. They come in a ton of color options, including suede styles for the season and I highly recommend them.

I'm in between sizes and I went with the half size up in these shoes and they fit perfectly. In the sweater, I'm wearing the xs.

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy the rest of your week!

Pleated Off the Shoulder and Distressed Levi's

I think it's pretty safe to say I almost never met an off-the-shoulder top I didn't like—or rather love. I actually have to stop myself from buying more in white, it's that serious. So whenever I see one in a style I don't have, it makes me feel less guilty adding another one to my ever-growing collection.

This little pleated off-the-shoulder was just that. I love the light gray, almost purple tone and the fact that it's a subtle print to diversify my wardrobe. It's neutral, yet still a pop. The pleats and swingy style definitely amp up the feminine style, which I'm all about and I love that you can easily take this from day to date night. I can see pairing it with cutoff shorts through summer, too.

I always love the mix of feminine and edgy, so these distressed Levi's skinny jeans were the perfect pairing and I added my favorite gray Vince slides to keep it effortless and easy for a casual day. You could just as easily pair with strappy heels. You guys, I just have to say I'm all about those Levi's and I truly can't believe I'm just finding that out. So comfy and I'm on the hunt for every color/wash I can get.

I found the jeans to be true to size and I'm wearing an extra-small in the top. The top does say it's a "crop top" however I didn't find that to be the case. I do tend to prefer shorter tops. I'm 5'6" with longer legs and a shorter torso for reference.

You guys. We had 80+ degree weather this weekend and it felt so good. I think I was Vitamin D deprived. I actually picked up this navy lace camisole while I was out and about over the weekend and wore it the very next day. It will definitely be a staple into spring and all the way through summer. It's from H&M but I couldn't find the exact one online, so I'm linking a few other options. But if you can find it in store, I'm wearing a US 4. I almost always size up at H&M.

I love how feminine and subtly sexy it is, which makes it perfect for date night (or girls night) topped with a faux leather (or suede) jacket for added edge. I think that edgy-feminine mix is so pretty/cool. I'm also really looking forward to wearing little lace cami's tucked into cutoff shorts all summer long. For now, I really love it tucked into my new high-rise Levi's

If you're wondering why I look super tan in these photos (or maybe you're not 😭), it's because a) Golden Hour is magical, b) filters are great and, most importantly, c) I've been using VersaSpa sunless tanners and they're pretty amazing. I have the entire line and my favorite has been the Bronzing Mist plus I also have on the Shimmering Oil here.

I've been using them for a couple weeks now and love the effect. They're very natural, buildable, easy to apply, quick-drying (I can get dressed within 5 minutes) AND they DON'T SMELL! Anyway, I definitely recommend them and have a giveaway running with VersaSpa on my Instagram which you can find here

Thanks for reading and enjoy your week!

Rain Coat Olive Rain Parka
Rainy Day Style Outfit Olive Parka

We've been getting hit with a TON of rain here in California which is really good but I feel like we can't catch a break. This week I wanted to share my super casual rainy day style. Some days I don't want to wear rain boots, so I always throw on my faux leather sneakers. Obviously, they're not really meant for the rain but they still keep my feet warm and dry and they're my favorite pair that just look cool with everything. Mine are old, so I'm linking similar styles below.

I usually pair them with ankle length pants that won't get soaked in the rain, toss on my favorite lightweight comfy sweater (I always feel like it's easy to overheat wearing a rain jacket, so I keep it light like this one) and layer with my go-to parka. I love how this one is fleece-lined to keep it comfy and the hood is HUGE to keep your hair semi-not crazy.

What's your go-to rainy day style?

Weekend Style: Grey Sweater with Black Moto and Distressed Denim

BlankNYC Black Moto Jacket
Athleisure Outfit
Olive Nike Juvenate Sneakers
Grey Sweater and Black Moto Jacket
Casual Faux Leather Moto Jacket Outfit

Happy Monday! Typically, on a casual weekend when I'm running errands, you'll find me in leggings, sneakers and a cardigan. But my quickest way to "dress up" my uber casual weekend looks is by swapping out my leggings for distressed denim and my cardigan for a moto. It's just an easy and comfy go-to that looks and feels relaxed and casual but is an easy step-up from your leggings.

This moto jacket is by BlankNYC and is one of my favorite brands for faux leather and suede layers. Mine is last season's version but they also have the updated version on sale for just $59, which I've also tried and highly recommend. It's a great weight and quality for the price. I wear an xs in every jacket I have in this brand.

I'm so glad athleisure is in because it means I get to wear my sneakers with everything and I'm all about that life. I found my olive pair in stock in all sizes which I wear with everything. I love the color for every season and they're neutral enough to go with everything but I also have my eye on the same style in oatmeal which I think will be even easier to pair with everything in your closet.

This leopard print hat is always my go-to finishing touch for no-wash weekends.

I think in my last post I mentioned I'm not the biggest dress-wearer and I'm probably even less of a skirt-wearer, but this one by Urban Outfitters is hands-down the best skirt I've ever owned. It's so, so comfy and I love how it can easily be dressed up (love it with a black silk cami) or down as I wore it here. Perfect to take into fall with booties, too.

I paired it with my new favorite tee from Shop Betches, which is also crazy soft. I'm excited to be a part of the Betches Clique and to offer you 15% off anything from the site with code GIRLMEETSBETCHES. (and this code makes me laugh.) I'm wearing a small in the tee for reference. They have some really funny and relatable pieces, so definitely check out the site.

I hope you all have a great week and Labor Day weekend!
