I have a thing for back flaunts. Like a major thing. I think it's one of the most tasteful ways to show a little skin and I love any piece of clothing that has unique back details, dips, and cutouts. That, combined with the fact that I love lace, made this little lace back romper from Lookbook Store an instant favorite. It's really comfortable and flattering and is perfect for a summer day paired with sandals, but can easily be glammed up for night. I went with an in between with heeled sandals and a casual crossbody that would be perfect to swap out with a clutch for night. If you haven't checked out Lookbook Store already, I highly recommend doing so. They have some really great pieces at an affordable price and I've been very impressed with both fit and quality.

If you checked out my blog yesterday, you may have noticed that I posted a couple...glamour shots? Face pics? Selfies? Whatever you call them, it was a rare occurrence, because the gorgeous Jenna Kyle of JKM Beauty did my makeup. I've honestly never had a cat eye liner look, but I was definitely feeling it. Honestly, it's amazing what a little eyeliner can do and I should maybe try wearing it more often. Well--it's amazing what a professional makeup artist can do, and I will probably never be able to replicate, BUT, if you happen to be in the NY area, I highly recommend Jenna for any of your makeup needs. Bridal, photo shoots, special events. Check her out here: jkmbeauty.com

Had the absolute BEST weekend running around in my new favorite little seersucker summer dress. LSSD? Going with it. It really is the most perfect style for summer and I love how classic the stripes and silhouette make it. I paired it with classic and simple neutrals for a sweet look for day, but I can't wait to add a faux leather moto jacket to edge it up a bit for night. It's crazy comfortable and oh so versatile, and comes in some pretty great color and print combinations, and to top it all off is only $30!  It's fully lined and honestly feels a lot more expensive than $30. I think the navy floral might be next on my list!

So, I don't normally post a lot of selfies and if I'm being totally honest I usually crop my head out of outfit posts, because even though I have a blog I HATE having my picture taken, BUT my lovely friend (and well, cousin) Jenna Kyle of JKM Beauty was kind enough to do my makeup and she did a phenomenal job. I'll be sharing a couple close ups this week on the blog, and if you're in the New York area I highly recommend checking her out. Bridal, photo shoots, events...you name it. She's super talented, super sweet, and kind of just super awesome. She even did a makeover series with Rebecca Minkoff! (Insert jawdrop emoji or whatever it is.) (and now insert crying laughing emoji.)

Anywayyyyy, if you're on the hunt for the perfect summer dress this one is a must and comes with a bonus of being twirl ready at any given moment, so....there's that. :)

Thanks so much for reading!

Tyler
