I think what I love most about fall (clothing-wise) is fall layers. Sweaters, vests, cardigans, blazers, jackets. Any kind of outerwear. I think I say this with everything, but I may have found my new favorite jacket, i.e., fall layer. I haven't been to an H&M in ages, let alone a mall, but I popped into one with a friend this weekend and was swooning over gorgeous knits and layers galore. Somehow I walked away with only three things. (I know, I'm impressed.) This jacket being one of them.

It's like almost like a faux tweed and has faux leather piping details throughout. Incredibly classic, chic, and versatile. It's structured, but not stiff or uncomfortable, and is literally the perfect piece to throw on over anything. As if it doesn't get any better, it has an ever so slight peplum. Needless to say, I'm obsessed, and at $49.95 I knew it would be worth every penny.

If you haven't been to an H&M lately. Just go.

Oh, floral print. I adore you. I tend to welcome spring with floral and gravitate towards it throughout the summer months, but lately I've been thinking about how I can incorporate it into Fall, as well. Scarves, knits, blazers?? While I wasn't expecting to start the Fall season in shorts, I knew I had to at least give them a Fall spin. I thought this was the perfect look for the transition. Classic woven shorts and a floral knit with neutral (and gold) accessories.

I picked up these Franco Sarto d'orsay flats from Nordstrom Rack over the weekend and I'm so excited to have them for Fall. I've totally fallen in love with d'orsay flats and heels (so flattering and hello, lengthening!) and I love the classic color of these. Nordstrom Rack had a great selection of boots and booties (and sweaters and jackets and way too many things I had to resist) but I would highly recommend stopping by if you have one near you and are on the hunt for Fall shoes. My sister got the most gorgeous pair of Rebecca Minkoff d'orsay flats (like sister, like sister) and I grabbed a must have pair of ankle boots, as well. :)

Thanks for reading and Happy Fall!

This sequin top might just be one of the most complimented items I own. Each time I wear it I get comments and compliments everywhere I go. I think what I love about it is that while sequins can tend to look a little over the top, inappropriate, flashy, etc., this top still manages to look classic and beautiful. It's such a simple silhouette that dips in the back (I LOVE a back flaunt) and the sequins just give it a delicate touch that makes it oh so pretty.

I love to dress it down for day, so I paired it with distressed denim to give it a touch of edge. This ASOS cross body has been my go-to with everything, especially since I seem to want to add a touch of Fall to every look. This pretty necklace from Accessory Jane and metallic flats were the perfect finishing touches.
