There's nothing I love more than a crisp white top and this one from Madewell is the perfect blend of classic, effortless and feminine. It has that breezy feel to update your denim for the season and the ruffle details give off a flirty vibe that's not overly girly. Just pure and simply chic style.

A peplum silhouette is a really flattering way to create a waist and while this top is slightly breezy and oversized, it has enough structure to maintain your shape. I loved pairing it with my trusted distressed Levi's skinny jeans in a light wash for a casual twist but you could just as easily pair with dark wash denim or black pants for work. Add a black moto jacket and you have an edgy vibe for date night. Sizing note: I did size UP in the jeans!

I added Madewell slide sandals in the perfect goes-with-everything tone but a pair of loafers in any color would work great or you can dress it up even more with classic pumps. If you're like me, a neutral crossbody will be the obvious choice. Try a circle style for an on-trend touch this season. I love this one by Rebecca Minkoff and it's easy for both day and night.

As always, thank you for reading!

The Most Flattering Top

I’ve said it before but I truly think a wrap top is flattering on pretty much any frame. It nips in at the waist and creates that instant hourglass silhouette that, let’s face it—doesn’t every woman want?

I adore this J.Crew wrap top and love how it’s the perfect twist on a classic button-down but even blousier styles are just as flattering. I think knit styles are perfect for added comfort but there's something about a little structure and flounce from silkier styles that make me feel more confident in a wrap silhouette. Do you find this, as well?

I think a wrap top is one of those wardrobe workhorses that you can pull out to pair with jeans for day to date night or dress up with black (or any color) trousers for an easy work-ready ensemble. I added light-wash, distressed jeans to dress the top down but you could also try your wrap tops with dark denim for a dressed-up feel.

As always, thank you for reading!
