An Affordable Vacation Look with Wide Leg Crop Pants

An Affordable Vacation Look with Wide Leg Crop Pants

I found the effortless outfit everyone will want to be living in for both vacation and all summer long. 🙌🏼Would you believe me if I told you these pants are $13.88, my tee is $6 and this entire look (shoes included) is under $57 with tax and free shipping?? Well, it’s true!

This look is head to toe Walmart from their new spring shop! Take a peek into both the bold stripe and cool cotton sections and you’ll find tons of affordable, spring-ready styles. One of my favorite combinations for the season is anything effortless and this outfit is the epitome of casual comfort.

Ruffle Sleeve Tee and Summer Jeans

When you find an easy tee, you buy it. And you wear it nonstop. This Free People tee is literally called 'So Easy' and it really is just that. I love having a twist on a basic tee and the ruffle sleeves give it the perfect something extra. I find this fit and silhouette to be super flattering (I'm not always a huge fan of my upper arms) and it's also incredibly lightweight for the season. It has some length but since it's so thin, it's very easy to tuck.

If you're looking for the perfect 'summer jeans'—these 501 Levi's are IT! Levi's have been my go-to lately and I've been getting a lot of questions about fit. I have admittedly been in between sizes lately (25 & 26) and have been sizing up to the 26 in almost all my newest Levi's. The styles with higher cotton content (for instance these are 100% cotton), tend to "bag out" with wear and have very little stretch, while the styles with more spandex obviously have more stretch and don't lose their shape.

If you want a pair that is super tight and stays that way, I recommend these 721 Levi's with 93% cotton and sizing UP, since they fit pretty tight.

The 501 Levi's in this post are technically a skinny style but I find they almost have a straighter, Mom-jean-like fit, which I LOVE. They're basically the best of both worlds (skinny and straight) and the lighter wash and distressing make them appropriate for summer wear. I also love the length of these. I'm 5'6" and the 28" inseam hits my ankle at just the right spot but you could easily cuff them, as well. I honestly feel so effortless when I wear these.

If you're in the market for a new pair of summer denim, I highly recommend them! You also really can't beat the quality for the under $100 price point. Let me know if you have any specific fit questions and I'm happy to help! For reference, I will leave my sizing on some of my Levi's below:

Levi's 501 High Waisted Skinny Jeans in 'Can't Touch This' - size 26. These are NO stretch. Bag out with wear. TTS to small, I sized UP.

Levi's 721 Ripped Skinny Jeans in 'Worn and Torn' - Size 26. These are HIGH stretch. Do not bag out with wear. Run small, I sized UP.

Levi's 721 High Rise Skinny Jeans in 'Rugged Indigo' - Size 25. These are NO stretch. TTS.

Levi's Mile High Super Skinny Jeans in 'Shut the Front Door' - Size 25. These are NO stretch. TTS.

Of course, I slipped into my favorite white slide sandals to complete the look.

I am also linking to several retailers below because I think they each show a different fit. I bought them from Nordstrom but I personally think the fit shown on the Revolve or Shopbop sites are more accurate.

As always, thank you for reading!

xx Tyler
