My Holiday Wishlist: A Classic Gift Guide for Her

My Holiday Wishlist: A Classic Gift Guide for Her | www.girlmeetsgold.com

With every new year, I find myself having less and less desire to make holiday shopping about me —I usually can’t think of anything I want—yet there’s something fun, festive and nostalgic about creating a holiday wishlist. In recent years, I’ve been focusing on updating my closet with classic pieces that will (hopefully) last. Less “ buying everything” and more shopping/purchasing with intention. These are a few things that have been on my personal list this year as items I’d like to update or just have in my collection.

The Holiday List…

(tap title for product link)

No. 1 Cuyana Slip PJ Set

As much as I love all the cute thermal Christmas pajamas, I run hot and can never actually sleep in them. These are a bit of a splurge for pajamas but they’re so much more practical and I love how they’re thermoregulating, vented and machine-washable! If you’re also interested in the silk sleep mask, check out this set that also includes a silk scrunchie.

No. 2 Larq Self Cleaning Water Bottle

The name speaks for itself. This water bottle uses non-toxic LED technology to purify your water and clean the inner surfaces, eliminating odor-causing bacteria and viruses—every two hours! It also keeps your water cold for 24 hours and hot for 12 hours. I’ve been using reusable water bottles for years but keeping them clean is my only gripe. This would. be. magic.

No. 3 Nuface Facial Toning Device Gift Set

A tool that uses microcurrent to contour, tone and firm the face. I’ve heard great things about this device and love the value of this mini version and limited-edition set. It’s never too early to treat or prevent signs of aging and I love how you can use it for a mini self-massage or throughout the day to wake up tired eyes (my biggest nuisance lately).

No. 4 Nomad AirPod Case Cover

Mainly because Tariq and I can’t keep ours straight! But we know I also can’t resist the classic color. 😊

No. 5 Lunya Washable Silk Sleep Mask

I sleep with a sleep mask every night and mine is…tired. I love how this one also covers the ears for some subtle sound-muffling. And the color is gorgeous—it comes in several!

No. 6 Warby Parker Blue Light Glasses

I’m sure a lot of us spend more time in front of screens than we’d like. I love the classic look of this pair by Warby Parker. Tap ‘select lens’, then ‘non-prescription’ to add the blue light-blocking.

No. 7 Mango Unstructured Coat

I tried to buy this during Black Friday but waited too long—it sold out! It’s back now and I just love the classic-effortless fit and chic color. It’s also a great price point—under $150.

No. 8 Aquatalia Weatherproof Sock Booties

These were a Black Friday purchase in black and perfectly filled a void in my closet. I love the sock bootie style and how you can easily tuck skinny jeans into them or let straighter leg denim fall over them. They’re sleek, chic (and weatherproof!) and perfect to wear both casually and dressy. I added the brown to my list because I have nothing like it and know they’d get a lot of wear. On major sale right now!

No. 9 Cuyana Travel Case Set

This travel case set has been on my list for a very long time. While there’s nothing wrong with a Target Collection toiletry bag or the bag you got as a gift with purchase, there’s also something sophisticated about having a classic, timeless and elegant set. These come in a bunch of colors and sizes and you can even monogram them.

No. 10 West Elm Floor Length Mirror

Let’s be real—this is kind of a weird Christmas list item but a girl can try. 😂Tariq knows I’m in love with this mirror and (realistically) it will probably be something I wait to purchase after the holidays. But it’s beautiful and truly one of the items that has been on my list, so I couldn’t resist sharing. I love the wider, oversized style and it would fill a mirrorless void in our bedroom.

No. 11 Allbirds Wool Runners

I shared a sneak peek of my wishlist in my Instagram Stories and so many of you said these were a definite MUST. Soft, lightweight, breathable and machine-washable, apparently they’re “cozy as a blanket” and “like walking on a cloud.” They’re also sustainably made!

No. 12 SeaVees Faux Shearling Slippers

I just love these. I really like how they’re almost a cross between a sneaker and a slipper, making them perfect for those quick “take the dogs out” or “check the mail” moments in the evenings.

No. 13 Senreve Convertible Belt Bag

I seem to have a thing for bags lately and when a sweet one of you shared this one with me, it instantly went on my list! “Streamlined and statement-making, the Italian leather Aria Belt Bag is an upgraded version of the classic fanny pack. This versatile, convertible belt bag can be worn in multiple ways: wear it as a belt bag, a sling bag, a crossbody, or a clutch. Features 3 interior pockets and can fit up to an iPhone 8 Plus.”

No. 14 Cuyana Recycled Cashmere Mockneck Sweater

The subtle balloon sleeves, mock neck and blouson effect—this sweater is so pretty, I can’t take it. I love the relaxed fit but how it also feels polished. Made from recycled cashmere, it also comes in black and dark gray.

No. 15 Truffle Jumbo Jetset Case

I’ve heard great things about these travel cases. They come in multiple sizes and colors and I love how the standard size is TSA-approved and easy to see inside.

No. 16 Cuyana Overnight Bag

To be honest, I had a hard time deciding between the Overnight Bag and the larger Weekender but I think the Overnight Bag fills a void for me personally and I love how it can slide over your suitcase handle. Because I am 100% that person rolling around the airport dropping things, struggling in the bathroom and getting tangled. 😅

No. 17 CalPak Packing Cubes

Sensing a theme here but it’s always nice to upgrade your luggage and travel essentials! I haven’t tried packing cubes yet but my suitcase is a CalPak and I love it. These come in a bunch of classic colors and the 5-piece set is under $60!

As always, thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful holiday season. Most importantly, filled with happy moments spent with loved ones. ❤️
