New York Fashion Week: rewardStyle Party

I'm a little late, but I wanted to share my look and experience in New York last weekend! Better late than never. I planned my trip to NY after being invited to the rewardStyle party during NYFW and I'm so, so happy I went. It was kind of last minute for me, so unfortunately, I didn't attend many actual Fashion Week events. You have to start emailing brands in advance to get on the list and I kinda slacked on that (wahh!) but I still had an amazing time at the party meeting tons of fabulous bloggers and just exploring NY in general. I did SO much walking, but loved every minute.

So, I honestly had absolutely NO idea what I wanted to wear to this party. If it were acceptable to wear jeans then I totally would have. I finally decided on pants after seeing these rust colored peg pants from ASOS and then died finding this feather top and knew my outfit was coming together. I didn't actually receive the top until the day before my trip and didn't even try it on with the pants until the day of the party! Oops! Luckily it worked and I got tons of compliments on it. I kind of can't wait to wear it with jeans for a more casual (but fun) look.

Soooo...what else did I do in New York? I walked the Brooklyn Bridge, went to the MoMA, strolled through Central Park, and did tons of window shopping. All in all it was an amazing trip and I can't wait to go back.
