Vegan Suede Trench

As we head deeper into fall and into winter, heavier layers are becoming more of a must—and probably have been for several months if you experience more of a temperature change than California!

But no matter what climate you live in, having outwear styles that can do double duty (from day to night, casual to dressy) is often essential. A classic trench coat is easily a wardrobe staple for any season and something most woman have (or should have!) in their outerwear collection. With a great mid-length, flattering silhouette and timeless appeal, the trench coat silhouette is quick to throw on and just instantly elevates any ensemble.

While this classic layer certainly doesn’t need to reinvent itself, variations in fabric and print can be a fun way to play with style.

Enter: the (vegan) suede trench. I’m all for a suede motorcycle jacket which is a great option for casual wear but there’s something instantly sleeker about a trench silhouette. Unfortunately, this exact one by Banana Republic is sold out in brown but it is available in classic black which is another great go-with-everything option. I also included a few dupes I could find below!

Paired with an ultra-soft and dreamy cashmere tee and these black coated faux leather pants (love this pair!), it’s a luxurious look that’s still crazy comfortable and easy to wear.
