If you’re anything like me and have a hard time getting out of your typical neutrals (looking at you, black, white, grey and camel!), fall is the perfect opportunity to experiment with adding in a few new hues. While this dusty tone may not be a bold color choice for some, it’s a warmer, richer tone that can add a little “something” to an otherwise neutral collection.

Personally, when I’m stepping outside my normal neutrals, I like to reach for tones that aren’t overly saturated. This particular one is “sequoia” by Michael Stars and they have plenty of styles in this gorgeous tone. I think it also helps to add an accessory in the same color family to the look to keep things cohesive. So, I paired this top with my go-to white Everlane pants (size down in these), slipped on a pair of white snakeskin-printed flats for texture and added this Everlane Mini Form bag in cognac to match the top.

I kept the whole look casual with this Sole Society wool hat but you could just as easily add holiday-ready outerwear like this faux fur jacket or this cozy wrap cardigan to take you through the holiday season.

As always, thank you for stopping by and reading!
