AYR The Robe
Welcome, fall…living in California, we have less of a season change in September but there’s still a shift happening that has me ready for chic basics paired with luxe layers and cozy staples. My outerwear options have been something I’ve been working to elevate and I love the idea of layering pieces that can really do double duty. Styles to take you from day-to-night and look chic paired with both slingback heels and sneakers. I have a camel cardigan/sweater blazer in heavy rotation but The Robe from AYR truly rounds out my camel coat collection.
I have the color “Champagne” and I love the lighter, softer hue in comparison to my J.Crew Ella Blazer in khaki, for example. Where the Ella is more of a thick sweater, The Robe is a true lightweight coat. It has the loveliest drape with a chic shape that makes it wonderful for dressing up or down and is definitely a style you can bundle up in paired with casual sweaters or use as a topper for sleek dresses.
AYR is also a new-to-me brand to love. Pronounced “air” and meaning All Year Round, AYR designs “made-to-last" basics and seasonless essentials for everyday life. Something that has become a top priority for me over the last few years is shifting my closet away from trends and fast fashion and instead prioritizing quality staples when possible and this is a brand that offers just that.
I had the pleasure of working with AYR and I’m thrilled to say that with just 5 of their staples, I felt able to create a multitude of outfits. More to come but definitely a capsule-friendly brand.
I paired The Empire denim with The Supercool Tee (which was a sleek, chic and cool combination all on its own) and topped with The Robe for a look to take you effortlessly through the fall and winter seasons.
Sizing Notes: Size down at least one size in the denim (I’m wearing a 24), otherwise, their styles seem true to size. They do also offer a size finder for their denim. For reference, I’m 5’6”.
