I can't believe we're halfway through April, spring is (almost) in full swing and summer will somehow be here before we know it. We spent part of the weekend spring cleaning and running errands before managing to get away on a quick day trip to Santa Cruz and Capitola. I swear, beach days are good for the soul.

I recently snagged a few new pieces from Vici and if you're local to the Bay Area, you have to check them out in Walnut Creek. They have so many amazing pieces at amazing prices and have new arrivals every day. For a few years, Vici has been my go-to for everything on-trend. If you have any weddings or special events coming up, I highly recommend checking out their dresses.

I'm so excited to partner with them and share this look with you. You know I love a good off-shoulder detail and this Step by Step top is no exception. It's the perfect warm-taupey tone and the bell sleeves give off a boho vibe. Does anyone else's style lean more bohemian in the warmer months?

I'm also wearing their girlfriend denim which is a steal at $52. They're really comfy—I recommend sizing down if you're in between sizes. I slipped into these perfect nude flats and finished with this beyond gorgeous cognac backpack. It's so, so adorable and I love the effortless vibe. It will go with everything!

Thank you for reading and enjoy your week!

How to Wear a Fitted Off-Shoulder Top

I don’t normally gravitate towards very fitted tops but when you find one that’s flattering and doesn’t feel stuffed, you buy it. And that’s this Free People off-the-shoulder top.

Full sizing disclosure: I sized up to the medium/large thinking I’d want the extra give but it ended up being too big through the arms and shoulders, so I would definitely stick with your normal size.

This top has a really comfy, stretchy, almost jersey-like feel that makes it ultra-flattering, in my opinion. It tucks seamlessly into my high-rise jeans and gives you that effortless silhouette that’s so desirable. This one has a slight sparkle that runs through it but it comes in so many colors!

I personally find this fitted style on top pairs best with high-waisted bottoms, so you really get a slight nip at the waist from the high-rise silhouette and it helps break up the top at a flattering spot at your torso. You could also tuck into an a-line skirt or any bottoms that are baggier. Think mom jeans or maybe a pair of wide leg capris this spring and summer.

I slipped into these Marc Fisher mules that have the perfect low heel height to finish the look with my jeans. They are so comfy at just over 2 inches high and the taupe tone will pair with everything in your closet. This Free People clutch has been the perfect finishing piece for the season and I love how it also comes with a crossbody strap.

As always, thank you for reading and enjoy your spring!
