Georgina Lounger

Tyler Sweatshirt

I’ve always been a fan of comfort, mix & match style staples and outfit combinations that transition seamlessly from the everyday to work to play. That’s something that’s only been heightened during a new and extended routine of working from home. I’ve swapped jeans for joggers and spent entire days in loungewear but I’m also a big fan of items that look just as polished as they are comfortable. Enter M.M.LaFleur, a leader in hybrid dressing, and the idea of Power Casual.

Think joggers that can take on the appearance of trousers, ultra-soft knits that pair with both jeans and blazers and pants that are polished yet secretly sweatpants. M.M.La Fleur offers pieces that are both comfortable and functional and can be dressed up or down to meet life’s daily (and ever-changing) needs.

The Georgina Lounger (to me) is a style standout that exemplifies the notion of Power Casual. Made from a superfine terry material, they’re truly elevated loungers. I love how they keep a sophisticated and polished shape without sacrificing comfort in any way. You can live, work, play—probably even sleep—in these. I’ve also never seen a pair of pants with a built-in hem allowance. With snap buttons on the inner hem, you can wear these full-length or cropped. I’m 5’6” and am wearing them cropped here. *Heads up, they do run large.

For a look that’s office-ready, I paired them with The Tyler Sweatshirt (a looser fitting knit I’ve worn tucked into jeans and paired with leggings just as easily) and slipped into slingback heels. The M.M.LaFleur Merritt Jardigan is another style that mixes structure with comfort and drapes beautifully over the shoulders or creates shape with a quick tie at the waist. Think of it as a triple-duty piece—jacket, cardigan and blazer.

The beauty of these pieces is they transform so easily. A quick swap into flats (or even sneakers) takes this outfit through tackling your daily routine.
