I have a thing for back flaunts. Like a major thing. I think it's one of the most tasteful ways to show a little skin and I love any piece of clothing that has unique back details, dips, and cutouts. That, combined with the fact that I love lace, made this little lace back romper from Lookbook Store an instant favorite. It's really comfortable and flattering and is perfect for a summer day paired with sandals, but can easily be glammed up for night. I went with an in between with heeled sandals and a casual crossbody that would be perfect to swap out with a clutch for night. If you haven't checked out Lookbook Store already, I highly recommend doing so. They have some really great pieces at an affordable price and I've been very impressed with both fit and quality.

If you checked out my blog yesterday, you may have noticed that I posted a couple...glamour shots? Face pics? Selfies? Whatever you call them, it was a rare occurrence, because the gorgeous Jenna Kyle of JKM Beauty did my makeup. I've honestly never had a cat eye liner look, but I was definitely feeling it. Honestly, it's amazing what a little eyeliner can do and I should maybe try wearing it more often. Well--it's amazing what a professional makeup artist can do, and I will probably never be able to replicate, BUT, if you happen to be in the NY area, I highly recommend Jenna for any of your makeup needs. Bridal, photo shoots, special events. Check her out here: jkmbeauty.com

Spring is officially here and what better way to welcome it than with a little floral print. I tend to gravitate towards floral and have numerous soft floral print tops, a bathing suit, scarf--even shoes--but I realized I didn't have a floral dress. Until now! This Maggy London floral maxi is my new favorite floral addition. And now my life (or floral wardrobe) is complete. (Ok well no--I still wouldn't mind having more.) Leopard and floral pops are kind of my love language.

Anyway, I wore it this weekend and really did get SO many compliments. Women, teenagers...an old man--it was kind of a hit and I can really see why. I love the simplicity of the style and that it's fun and flattering. The color palette is gorgeous and I LOVE that it can do double duty from dressed up to casual. I paired it with a denim jacket until the weather warmed up and added gold gladiator sandals and a simple cross body, but I could easily see it dressed up with wedges for a spring or summer wedding and it would undoubtedly be the perfect piece for a tropical vacation.

Maggy London has the most gorgeous special occasion dresses--think a garden party/vintage vibe with lace and pops of prints with classic and flirty silhouettes. They even have a "floral shop!" There's really something for everyone AND I've teamed up with them to give you a chance to win a $100 gift certificate if you find something you love woop! Rules are super simple, so head to my Instagram to enter!
