6 Classic Finds From the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
1 White or Striped Tee
Simple t-shirts in luxe fabrics are a favorite to find on sale. I love the slightly boxy silhouette of this striped tee and the subtle cuff sleeve on the white tee.
2 Cream Cableknit
Vince is one of my go-to’s for classic, timeless, effortless staples and a chunky cable knit is a wardrobe essential. Wear them year-round with everything from denim to leggings to shorts or even layered over dresses.
3 Camel Coat
This is my favorite item from the sale and the one major piece I’m keeping an eye on. (It’s currently sold out). I searched high and low for the perfect camel coat last season and they can be pretty pricey. I love the classic silhouette on this one—it’s structured yet effortless with minimal detailing.
4 Coatigan
Somewhere in between a cardigan and a coat, I love the style of this longline layer for dressing up or down. It’s the perfect robe-like silhouette that somehow still feels polished and sleek—whether worn with denim or tossed on with athleisure looks.
5 Weatherproof Boots
I have a version of these Aquatalia weatherproof boots and they’re a great basic with a sleek silhouette to take from day to night. The higher shaft and tighter, sock-like fit is very flattering and I personally love the lower heel. I’m between sizes and sized UP in my pair.
6 Slub Knit Cardigan
A slightly cropped and boxy silhouette, I think this style is the perfect casual layer to toss on with your favorite tee or even pair with dresses to take into fall. I always reach for this style in the morning paired with pjs or jogger pants.

How I Shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
1. Think about what (if anything) you actually need.
Styles that may be missing in your collection & items to add value to your wardrobe. I try to think back to past seasons and remember what I wore most, what I lacked (coats, sweaters, date night) or what I’d like to build on. Always opting for quality over trend.
2. Browse by brand.
I prefer to always browse sales by brand. Instead of perusing the entire sale, focus on your favorite denim brands, sustainable brands, designer labels that offer timeless staples and start there. A few favorites I like to check: Vince, Theory, Madewell.
3. Consider consumable items (things you use daily).
Skincare, makeup, haircare—the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale can be a great opportunity to stock up on everyday beauty staples and brands often offer exclusive value sets, so I recommend a quick search of your favorite brands.
